Editorial policy
How Stakmotive researches, dates and reviews its pages, what we never do, how to report an error, and how AI assistance is used and disclosed.

Stakmotive publishes comparisons, guides and calculators to help agencies and service businesses choose and run CRM and marketing software. This policy describes how we do that work and the rules we hold ourselves to. It is written to be checked: if we break one of these rules on a page, you can point to it.
How we research
Primary sources first. Every price, plan limit and feature claim on a page must come from a primary source: the vendor’s pricing page, its documentation or its official help center. Each page lists its sources with the date we read them. Third-party blogs, forums and review sites may point us toward a question, but we do not rely on them for a factual claim.
Every claim is traceable. Prices and feature statements in the body carry a numbered reference to a listed source. If we cannot verify something from a primary source, we leave it out or say plainly that we could not verify it.
We say when a source is unclear. Vendor pages sometimes disagree with each other or leave a figure out. Where that happens, we say so on the page instead of choosing the answer that reads best.
Dates matter. Pages show when they were last reviewed and, where they quote prices, when those prices were checked. Prices change without notice, and a price without a date is not information.
Review cadence
- Pages that quote prices are re-checked against the vendor’s page at least every 45 days. A page that is not re-checked in that window is taken out of publication or its prices are removed until it is.
- Other pages are reviewed when a vendor changes something material, when a reader reports an error, or at least once a year.
- Each time we review a page, we update its review date even if nothing else changes.
What we never do
- We do not claim to have tested a product unless we did. We do not invent test results, benchmarks, screenshots, customer quotes, testimonials, traffic figures, rankings or statistics. If a page says nothing about testing, it means we have not tested.
- We do not accept payment for placement. No vendor can buy a listing, a higher ranking or a more favorable description.
- We do not publish promises of results. We do not say a tool will save a specific amount or earn a specific amount. Our calculators show your inputs worked through a formula, with the formula visible.
- We do not use fake authors. Pages are attributed to the Editorial team, not to invented individuals.
- We do not hide commercial relationships. How we are paid is explained in the affiliate disclosure, and affiliate links are marked where they appear.
How we handle verdicts
Verdicts come from stated criteria applied to sourced facts. Each comparison names who should pick each option and, for any product we may earn from, who should not pick it. Where a recommendation rests on our judgement and not on a vendor document, we label it as judgement.
Corrections
If you think something on this site is wrong, write to FTSRmarketing@gmail.com with the page address and, if you can, a link to the source that shows the problem. We aim to review reports promptly and to correct confirmed errors on the page. When a correction changes a verdict or a price, we update the review date and note the change on the page. We do not remove a correction request from consideration because it is inconvenient.
AI assistance
Some drafts on this site may be prepared with the help of AI tools. AI assistance is used for drafting and for checking structure; it is not a source. Every factual claim must still trace to a primary source as described above, and a human reviews and approves every page before it is published. Prices and statements about what a product has or lacks are checked against the cited source, a step that may itself be AI-assisted; the source list on each page shows what was read and when. AI-generated text is never published without a human reviewing and approving the page.
Independence and funding
The site is funded by affiliate commissions, as described in the affiliate disclosure. Commission income does not decide what we write. Each page that discusses a product we may earn from must also state its weaknesses and the situations where it is the wrong choice.
