HighLevel and Vendasta compared for agencies: platform plans, spend minimums, white label, reselling and wholesale products, with dated prices and sources.

Last reviewed ·Prices checked on

Short answer

HighLevel is one platform for CRM, messaging, pipelines and sub-accounts at a flat plan price plus usage. Vendasta is a white-label marketplace where you pay a monthly platform minimum and resell third-party products at wholesale prices. Choose HighLevel to build and run one system, and Vendasta if you mainly want to resell other vendors' products.

Very small agency with one or two local clients
Compare both in a trialVendasta Starter is a $99 monthly minimum with no contract, which its page says is covered by 1 to 2 local businesses' product spend [4]; HighLevel Starter is $97 a month for 3 sub-accounts [1]. They sell different things for similar money.

Contenders and where prices were read

HighLevel and Vendasta both sell to agencies that want to put their own brand on software for local business clients. HighLevel is one platform: CRM, messaging, pipelines, funnels and sub-accounts under a flat plan price plus usage [1]. Vendasta is built around a white-label marketplace: you pay a monthly platform minimum and resell third-party products and services at wholesale prices [4][5]. If you want to build and run one system, look at HighLevel. If you mainly want to resell other vendors’ products under your name, look at Vendasta.

How we researched this

This is research from both vendors’ pricing pages and help documentation read on 2026-10-31. We did not set up an account on either, so we make no claims about usability, support or product quality. Prices are list prices in USD and will change.

The two models

HighLevel sells a platform. Your plan buys access to the software, and you pay usage fees for messaging, calling and some AI features on top [1][2]. Resale happens through the tools inside it: rebilling, SaaS mode and white label settings [1][3].

Vendasta sells a platform and a marketplace. Its marketplace page describes Marketplace as “the extension layer” of its platform, where partners add third-party apps and managed services, get “one login, one bill”, and can launch a branded storefront [5]. Vendasta says it offers wholesale pricing on resellable products, with “up to 65% lower costs” and “no RFPs or volume commitments required” [4]. That “up to” figure is Vendasta’s own claim and we could not check it.

How do HighLevel and Vendasta pricing compare?

HighLevel Vendasta
Entry Starter, $97/month ($970/year); 3 sub-accounts [1] Starter, $99/month minimum, “covered with 1 to 2 local businesses”; no contract [4]
Mid Unlimited, $297/month ($2,970/year); unlimited sub-accounts [1] Professional, $499/month minimum, “covered with 3 local businesses”; 1-year contract [4]
Upper Founder, $497/month ($4,970/year); rebilling with markup, SaaS mode [1][2] Premium, $999/month minimum, “covered with 6 local businesses”; 1-year contract [4]
Top Enterprise, contact sales [1] Custom Enterprise, ideal for 20 or more clients; 1-year contract [4]
Trial 14 days on any plan; billing starts automatically afterwards unless you cancel [1] Free 14-day trial with no payment method, per the FAQ; “No credit card required” on the page [4]
Extra seats Unlimited users listed on Starter [1] Starter includes 1 seat, extra $30 each; Professional 5 seats, $35; Premium 10 seats, $65 [4]

Read the Vendasta numbers carefully. They are minimums: the Starter plan says “No subscription. Your minimum goes to the AI Employees and products you deploy” [4]. Your first month’s minimum is paid at signing; from month two, every $1 of qualifying product spend counts toward the minimum and you pay only the shortfall [4]. The FAQ says third-party Marketplace purchases do not count toward the monthly minimum [4]. The “covered with” figures are not account caps: the page’s feature table labels the same numbers “Ideal number of SMB clients to meet minimum spend” (fewer than 3, 3 or more, 6 or more, 20 or more) and lists unlimited client accounts and client users on every plan [4]. In other words, they are roughly how many clients’ product spend it takes to use up the minimum.

HighLevel’s costs on top of the plan are published in its help center: for example $0.675 per 1,000 emails [2]. See the pricing guide for the full list, or check HighLevel’s current plansaffiliate (opens HighLevel in a new tab) on its own page.

White label and branding

  • HighLevel: You set a white label domain in Agency View with a CNAME record, add a logo and your privacy and terms links. That brands the desktop login and app URL; links in emails and texts use a separate API domain setting. The article states no plan requirement [7]. Separate brands per domain (SaaS Multi-Brands) are limited to the $497 plan and were in private beta on 2026-10-27 [6]. A white label mobile app is a $497 per month add-on (HighLevel’s pricing guide also lists $1,491 a quarter), and a branded client portal app is $49 per month per sub-account [1][2]. See our white label guide.
  • Vendasta: Starter shows co-branding with Vendasta. A white-label client portal is listed from Professional and a multi-location portal on Premium [4].

Reselling

The big question is what you resell.

If you resell software you configure for clients (CRM, follow-up, pipelines, booking), HighLevel is closer to that. With the $497 plan you can mark up rebilled usage and sell the platform as SaaS, after connecting your own Stripe account [2][3]. On the $297 plan you can rebill phone and email at cost [1][3].

If you resell a range of other vendors’ products (websites, listings, SEO, advertising, hiring tools), Vendasta’s marketplace is built for that. It cites 250+ products and 66,000+ partners, which are its own figures [5]. HighLevel’s pricing page lists a smaller set of add-ons you can resell, such as SEO at $79 per month per sub-account and WordPress hosting from $10 per month per site [1].

Where Vendasta wins

  • A wide product catalogue under one bill and one storefront [5].
  • A wholesale model with no per-client software fee [4][5].
  • A starter option with no contract, for agencies that want to test with one or two local businesses [4].

Where HighLevel wins

  • A single system for CRM, messaging and pipelines at a flat plan price [1].
  • Month-to-month billing with no long-term contract, per HighLevel’s pricing FAQ, where Vendasta’s Professional and Premium list a 1-year contract [1][4].
  • A fixed plan price for unlimited sub-accounts from $297 [1], where Vendasta’s monthly minimum rises by tier and has to be met with product spend [4].

Who should not choose HighLevel

  • You want to resell dozens of third-party products without building anything yourself [5].
  • You prefer spend-based pricing that scales with what you sell over a flat plan plus usage fees [1][4].

Who should not choose Vendasta

  • You want one platform to run follow-up, pipelines and client communication yourself, rather than assembling marketplace products [1][5].
  • You cannot take on a 1-year contract at the middle and upper tiers [4].

What we could not verify

  • Vendasta’s wholesale margins on any specific product. The page gives a general claim only [4][5].
  • Whether HighLevel’s per-brand white label requires the same plan as the single white label domain; the single-domain article states no plan [7].
  • Support quality or onboarding on either side.

How to test both in a trial

Both vendors offer a 14-day trial [1][4], so run a small test on each with one real client in mind. On HighLevel, start the 14-day trial on HighLevelaffiliate (opens HighLevel in a new tab), create a sub-account, connect the white label domain in Agency View [7], and build one follow-up workflow. On Vendasta, set up a storefront and see which products you could resell and at what wholesale cost [4][5].

Then answer four questions. What is the monthly floor on each platform for the number of clients you have today? What happens to that floor when you add three more clients? Which products would you actually resell, and are they in the catalogue? And how much of the work is yours to build compared with buy? Put the answers beside your current tool costs in the Software Stack Savings calculator. The better platform is the one whose floor is lower for the clients you actually have, and whose model matches what you want to sell.

Verdict

Pick HighLevel if you want to run an agency from one platform and are willing to manage usage costs. Pick Vendasta if your agency is a reseller of other vendors’ products and you want a ready-made storefront. You can start HighLevel’s 14-day trialaffiliate (opens HighLevel in a new tab) and test the client-account model alongside Vendasta’s trial. Questions

Is Vendasta a GoHighLevel alternative?

For agencies that want to white-label software for local business clients, yes, with a different model. Vendasta describes a white-label marketplace where partners resell third-party apps and services through a branded storefront with wholesale pricing [4][5]. HighLevel describes one platform with CRM, messaging, pipelines and sub-accounts [1].

How much does Vendasta cost?

Vendasta's pricing page lists Starter at a $99 monthly minimum, Professional at $499 and Premium at $999, with Enterprise custom [4]. These are minimums that product spend counts toward, not fixed subscription fees, and Professional and Premium carry a 1-year contract [4].

Does HighLevel have a marketplace like Vendasta's?

This page does not rely on any HighLevel marketplace claim. HighLevel's pricing page lists resellable add-ons such as AI employee plans, a branded client portal app, WordPress hosting and SEO [1], mostly priced per sub-account (WordPress per site). It does not describe a wholesale marketplace of third-party vendors.

Do both offer white label?

Yes, with limits. Vendasta lists co-branding with Vendasta on Starter, a client portal under your brand on Professional and a multi-location client portal on Premium [4]. HighLevel lets you set a white label domain in Agency View [7], and per-brand domains through SaaS Multi-Brands, which is in private beta on the $497 plan [6].
